Does anyone know anything about whether CRK will start using S35VN on other models than the Sikayo line?

What are the differences between S30V and S35VN ??? I have only had experience with S30V !

It is a brand new Crucible steel that Chris Reeve helped develop. It is supposed to be an improved version of S30V, mostly due to the addition of Niobium, a little bit like S110V is an improvement over S90V (and S110V also contains Niobium).
Apparently it has moved beyond the experimental phase, Sal was mentioning in the Spyderco Forum recently that they are planning a Mule with that steel.

This should be very interesting how it turns out as S30V has earned a great reputation for edge holding ability and toughness. Leave it to Chris to improve an already great steel.

We will have S35VN in stock by the end of January. We just received some billet from Crucible and we are testing it for cleanliness. We will start rolling it into sheet once it passes.
