Any update on this new model from Kershaw? SpeedSafe, good ergos, around $25 price tag. Just tell me when I can get one

Looks kinda like a Lahar is it US made or imported?

KnifeCenter's site says it's US-made and a Ken Onion design, however the description lists 8Cr13MoV (a Chinese steel) as the blade steel. I'm guessing it's China-made, but I'm not 100%
I know I want one ;)

Copied from KnifeCenter:

Specifications
Steel: 8CR13MoV, bead-blasted finish
Handle: Injection-molded Polyimide
Lock: Linerlock
Blade: 3"
Closed: 4-1/4"
Weight: 4 oz.
Designer: Ken Onion
Made in USA

The blade has U.S.A in real tiny print but that may just be for the prototype knife.

Dang it... ANOTHER Kershaw I want to buy... there are so many of the older designs I don't have yet. The Clash is definitely on my list, very nice looking knife. I have a Chill, also made in China, and the FF on it is perfect.

First articles (smaller run) of the Clash have shipped. By months end they should be available everywhere. ...and some of you question my prognosticating. :)

Ahh no wonder I couldnt Google "Kershaw Taboo" , it's called the "Clash" ! :D

and now I know when it will be available.... cant wait :)

Why isn't there more buzz around this knife? For $25, its an amazing deal. Blade is perfectly centered, zero bladeplay, fires hard and fast, great ergos, and the steel is sufficient for EDC. I'll upload pics in a bit.
