Any news on the Nirvana???

Ive been quiet and patiently waiting, but I havent heard any news or anything about the Nirvana at all in a while. I saw it was at the Amsterdam show, but no update on when it will be available. The Mamba is out (also made in Taiwan), but Ive been really excited about a relatively well priced integral and this seems like the longest wait for a spyderco I can remember! Spyderco is usually reliable and fast with their products and this one has been very quiet.... Anyone got any news or updates?

Knife Center has been talking about a May 2016 release and you can pre-order it there. You would think if the release was in fact a few weeks away we would be hearing more about it! I can't wait for this one either, picking it up as soon as it comes out.
 
Im hoping for May, but I would certainly settle for an update from Spyderco about it! I would definitely expect some excitment about the knife and some intrigue as this will be a serious feat at a reasonable price.
 
At the Oregon Knife Show today, they said probably May. The integral handle had been causing delays. It is a sweet knife.

That makes sense. I hope more than timliness that its done correctly though with Spydercos QA and especially from the Taiwan factory I have no doubt it will spectacular. Nice to have an update though and hell May isnt that far away and hopefully thats the case! I appreciate the info.

From what I've heard, this was intended to be a standard production model, but with the apparently difficulty of accomplishing this build, it might turn out to be a limited production run.
