I have to say that after the Shallots this is the next Kershaw I am likely to order. It seems alot like the EnerG but with a frame lock. Looks like a great 'gentleman's' knife for edc. I have not seen much about it though. What is the story?

My local dealer says he'll have them in stock near the end of December.

It's a frame lock. Model number 1775. Black G-10 scale on the non-locking side. 14C28N stainless steel blade, 2-15/16" long. Over Drive flipper system. Rick Hinderer-style lock stabilizer. 3.4 ounces in weight. American-made. Three-position pocket clip. No lanyard hole. Store price looks to be around $50.

Here's a link to the thread started by Thomas that announced the OD-1... http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=560613

For those of you who already know and just want to see the photos again, here you go...

That is going to be a very nice knife. I am loving how high you have the clip mount.

I have no idea how I missed that post, repeatedly, for months... It must be I had onion juice from the Shallots blinding me to everything else.

Thomas, THANK YOU so much for putting clip mount holes on the left side!! Does it look funny over there?

this'll be my next Kershaw after I get an Orange Zing. Well, if i'm not tempted by something else in between...
