heres something i came up with earlier.

drinking ice cold coca cola with lemon slices
got a real beauty in the back yard,
my aussie shephard teasing me with her frisbee.
i can see the sunlight and feel the arizona breeze
kinda hard not to sneeze in the springtime
i look over to the fence and see the fresh lemons, my neighbors keep leaving me.
cars drive by in the city of surprise,
i can hear and feel the rumble of the air force jets flying high above me in the sky.
on this nice sunny breezy arizona day

i used to like to write a bit when i was younger, i would always have a notebook in my back pocket.

looks like alot of you are into bushcrafting, photography. what other hobbies do my fellow becker folks have?
 
i'm not a writer, but more of a reader with a short attention span.

I do like dual sport motorcycle(mostly dirt), and just being outdoors.

I want to be a canoer, but the wife says"not until we move to chattanooga".

when i think of canoe's, i think of that movie deliverance.

such a good movie though. hopefully your canoe experiences don't turn out that way though.

what have you been reading lately by the way, i like to read alot of vince flynn novels.
 
yeah, my wife and i like that movie too. hopefully i don't have a "purdy mouth"!

Honda xr650l, its big and heavy.
smaller is the way to go, especially in the mud or sketchy terrain.
those tw200's look like fun. Go for it!!
 
I've been published in various writing journals and poetry anthologys. Havnt had much time for it lately but I do have a couple stories in the works that I've been playing around with for the last couple years. I'll get a novel out eventually if I ever make time for it.
 
well im like knives and backpacking, im also to amateur competitive pistol shooting, play football, love to weightlift, love riding bikes, and have been known to be somewhat of a book lover.
 
I love words. I like to pretend that I’m articulate and have a vast vocabulary, but a good portion of what I say comes out “damn”. Usually that covers it pretty good though.
 
Not a huge fan of writing, but I am a huge fan of proper capitalization.

I like to collect knives and post on a forum discussing their qualities and nuances, as well as read about others experience with them.

I'm also an insane Bigfoot fanatic. In many ways, planning for my epic Bigfoot hunt in 2013 transformed my pedestrian interest in knives and gear into full-scale addiction.

Grad school and two kids doesn't leave much time for much else.
 
The thing to watch for isn't how quickly this thread gets moved....but where?
