Someone walked by me while I was deep into looking at a table and said "Cool Shirt" to my Busse black T. I turned and whoever it was wasn't lookin at me anymore.

I sorta doubt it b/c if I ever saw a Busse T anywhere, I'd bowl the guy over introducing myself. "Hi, I'm Dennis in MA, Busse's Southeastern Massachusetts Regional INFI tester. How are you?" :)

Missed it.

I do wear my Busse shirts alot, and am always on the lookout for others wearing Busse stuff, but haven't seen anybody. I occasionally get a "Cool shirt" or "What's that say?", but not from anyone that knows Busse.

Crap... that was this weekend??? :(

I missed it...

Next time we should all plan to meet up there...

I stopped going to that show. Some really nice knives there (saw a Dozier/Keating Crossada in A2 with aluminum trainer) and met the late Rene Roy there, too, but no INFI, no SR101, no SR77 and on the other knives, barely a price matching NGK.

Darnit. If all of youse hogs will be at the next one, I'll go, too. Just be on the watch for "Mulder." If he shows up, his commute and stealth hog prowess may make him take our INFI.

Tom,

I'll play nice and not hoard all the INFI.
Maybe even bring a few pieces for show and tell.

Maybe it's time we have a NE get together.
I'm available next weekend and someone has an idea of a place semi central.

I didn't even think to mention it. I was solo this time so I was in and out in 90 minutes. Nothing much to see. Some far-too-overpriced Glock and S&W M&P's out there. A couple of cool 1903/08 Colts but I just got one of them so I didn't need one.

It's not a bad show. And without Wilmington, it's either that or drive to Springfield for a fair-sized MA show. :(

The NEACA or whateveritis Sunday-Only show is in a few weeks. I'll see if I can dig up the link. Never been. Obviously far smaller. But who knows.

Strange thing about Marlboro - usually you get 2-3 guys with buckets of used knives. Only one this year. And overpriced on his junky-knives. Stuff I paid $10 for to practice sharpening was $25. And still no Busse gems in there. :(

But an odd show. Not a ton of old guns or cowboy guns or paramilitary guns. Scads of boring NIB pistols at high prices and shotguns. How many shotguns can one person own??? ;)

LOL

What about recent-model vintage bird-guns. Some guys have tables upon tables of guns with no one buying. I just don't get that. Of course there are guys there with the same WW2-era pistols that I lust after but not at double-reasonable-prices. Every show they cart it all in and cart it all out. ????

Best is the guy that has a HUGE sign all over "I trade cash for guns." Wow. Talk about Mr. Friendly. LOL
