Any one have any before & after pics of removing a bead-blast finish?

I want to remove the bead-blast finish of my Emerson to give it a smoother, more durable satin finish.
The easiest way I have read was the scuff the finish off with a piece of Scotch Brite, then polish it smooth with metal polish like Flitz or MAAS.
Just want to confirm this before taking abrasives to my beloved Emerson.
Any pics and advice? Thanks.

Dont worry about your beloved emerson being ruined by what you are going to do. It will just come down to how much work you want to put into it, you can get that polished like a mirror with enough effort. It is never ruined.

Yeah, you will dismantle the entire knife before starting the procedure.
