I saw one on a site but, it was in Malaysia.
Does any one know where to get one in American ?
They say It,s not good for chopping, but comes from a sheath & para cord.

nope, but it looks interesting. for 68 and change or so usa dollars i think i'll stick to my condors, imacasa's, and trams.....too bad it's so pricey, looks good.

It's actually an insulation knife. Looks like about $36 US on its own.

Ahh, and how right you are. Interesting.....looks like a small machete but made to cut fabric covered rockwool. Still quite pricey at 36 bucks for an insulation knife even a big one. Ductboard knives I pay 6 bucks for one with wood scales, full tang too:) and I get a sheath. Id kinda like a mora machete though , not that there isn't already tons of choice, but just cause.......

Thanks for the correction and info......otherwise until I had the motivation to go to moras website id still be thinking there was a mora machete.

I know this is a necro thread but I just wanted to add a few comments based on recent findings.

I actually got some of these in and tested the tang with a strong magnet. Looks as though it goes all the way back to the A in "MORAKNIV" on the handle, which is about 2/3 of the way back, and the magnet also indicates it's VERY broad. The thing weighs only 7 oz. so it's a steel feather, but the edge is sharp like only a Mora can be. It DOES chop, and can handle it fine. It feels like a small knife if you have your eyes closed, and will perform all the same tasks as a regular Mora, but can also handle brush clearing and the like. It's not going to chop like a bolo will, but it would go perfect with a Ti Emberlit, a Snowpeak cook set, and a Kelty pack. It's a real knife/machete hybrid in the truest sense, and I actually am liking it a lot.

Edit to add: The edge that comes on them is so thin that when I was testing one out on 1/4 thick green wood the edge was deforming. After a quick thickening of the edge bevel to a more robust (but still QUITE thin) 30 degree inclusive I was chopping away at an oak palette without any issues, and it was still making nice thin curls when used as a knife.
