Any one know anything about this knife?

So not sure if this is the right spot to post or not but here goes. I have this knife in a shadow box of old items from my grandfather. Don't know anything about it wondered if any ones does. It seems like it could be a novelty or sometging.Here are a few pics

From the pictures, it looks like it could be an Imperial.
 
I had one when I was growing up. they sold them off a card at the little mom and pop gas station where my dad got his paper every Sunday.
I got one with money from shoveling snow. Mine was an Imperial I think. It came with a sharp edge but I don't think it stayed that way long.
 
I had one of those when I was a little kid. My grandma gave it to me; she had it around the house from when my dad and uncle were kids.
 
Had a couple like that when I was a boy.
You are correct. They were novelty items.
