I am trying to find info about a knife maker that signed this scandinavian style knife with his initials on the blade, a long tailed "C" with a smaller "p" coming off of the top side of the C so that the C circles around the p.

I am having trouble posting a picture (never did that before). I just found my note from when I aquired the knife, I was told the maker's name was C. Patrick, the stamped logo on the knife does not jive with the Patrick listed in "Knives 2007".

Having trouble posting a picture. I just found my notes from when I aquired the knife, was told the maker is from a central U.S., his name is C. Patrick, his stamped logo does not match up with the C. Patrick listed in " Knives 2007". if any one has an idea, I would like contact information. this is a fine quality piece.

You might want to check out Nordicknives & Bladegallery. Both sites carry Scandinavian makers,Blade Gallery more so than Nordic.Good Luck in your search.

Hi All, thanks to those of you that have offered hints so far. now that I have a picture posted that you can see the makers Logo, maybe it will jog somebody's memory.

There's an LC Patrick who often offers scandi knives on eBay, but as far as I know he/she takes stock scandi blades and puts handles on them.

Hi & Thanks to each of you that offered help, the Ebay lead proved to be the key. The knife was made by Lynn Patrick of Traverse City, Mi. The blade is by Par Bjorkman from Sweden, it's called his Brassback, the logo on the blade is a fancy "p" for Par, not a Cp as I stated earlier.
