Seems everyone does something to make their Beckers look better than stock but are there any real one of a kind modifications out there?

Certainly not one of a kind, but here is mine.

I love em. They work great !

Warrior's clipped BK2 comes to mind.

Also, the frankenbecker 2 with etching by Clich:

I forgot about that knife such a cool result.

Cilch and Oregon F'aller (I pretty sure it was those two) did a BK7 for somebody in the service and etched dog tags and gravestone on one side and a quote on the other. The scales were made out of old fatigues. That's the knife that sticks out most in my mind.

Pretty much all of the other mods beyond stripping and de-ramping end up being one of a kind. Most everyone that seems to be around here ends up altering their Becker to their own specifications.

Anybody got a link to that abortion Clich did? The one with the handles that look like turds?

Or that one that Murph did that made a big ass paint scraper?

Those are some doozies......

Did you hit those textured grips with some high grit paper to take away the rough parts? They look painful to use otherwise.

Not really one of a kind but I haven't seen anybody else leather wrap their 14

I just cant bring myself to start reshaping my knives, I would be kicking my own behind so hard if I ever messed up my knives while I was toolin on 'em, leave that to people with a lot more shop time than I do :) they usually come up with something pretty awesome looking.

I've got a 1 of a kind--it's a 9 modified by Haze, which is sweet, although I am thinking I'm going to mirror polish it, rework the handle, and pin it. I need to get some new photos though.

Landshark was the first, most extreme modding I have seen.

Then there are the Veff serrations done to this one here:

Here is one that I did with some help; ok a lot of help, from 1066Vik.

And one that I did all by myself ;)

Now that's a piece of art.

Is there any realistic way a crossguard can be added to the overall package?
