I was searching around for the best prices for some mosaic pins and ran across his site . Thought I would ask if any one has shopped with him .

I did place a small order as a test , so I guess I'm asking after the fact .
 
I've dealt with him in the past and have nothing but good memories of excellent service and products.
 
We stock pins from Frank and I love them. The acrylic is clear which is really cool on a knife when someone can actually look through them. It's cool to see the lights come on about mosaic pins. The quality and consistency is outstanding, as are the the prices.

We're still looking for a supplier for coloured resin pins as well as more patterns - but what Frank has, we love - and I haven't had a customer complaint yet.

i have had the honor to call Frank one of my close friend's,a partial mentor,we have known each other for about 6 years now
he is very sincere in his honest desire to help us poor knifemakers use the best they can without breaking the bank. great guy once you get to know him ,i have personally seen him cut burls up store and dry them 6 months just to dye them himself wait another 6 month's and send the wood to K&G for stabilizing.then sell it for less than anyone else..i have seen "Frank's" Scrap blow away what others called their best
 
I have a couple sets of stabilized maple burl scales from Frank somewhere in my stash. I haven't used them yet, but they sure are pretty. It's been a couple of years since I dealt with him, but this is what I remember:
  1. His webpage is not always up to date with all of his product, so...
  2. ... shoot him an email to let him know what you are looking for. His communication is good, and he'll likely be able to send you photos of other items from his inventory that'll suite your needs.
  3. He's got some nice product at reasonable prices.
 
thanks guys . I can say this . 15 minutes after I placed the order I got the PP invoice . 20 minutes after paying the invoice I got the " your order has shipped notice " FAST .
 
I try to do the best I can with what I have. I started selling wood and mosaic pins because I was tired of seeing knife makers getting ripped off by suppliers.
I work on getting the best wood that I can find. The wood and pins that I sell are the same as I use for making my knives.
Thank you for your kind comments. I will continue selling my products as long as I can. I just am not getting any younger.

I got my order a couple of days ago , it was just 1 pin as a test but I can say it is beautiful and Frank beats everybody's price . Thank You Frank . There will be more orders in the future .

Dang , you live close to me , wish it was closer .
