What did you think ?

I'm looking at one at a store and the guys trades. It had a really neat look to it

Can any one reccomend?
 
Personally I don't have one but my dad has been collecting them for years (along with other buck fixed blades) and he loves them.

Buck has their own subforum here on Bladeforums, in the manufacturers section. Guys there talk about all things Buck, and quite a few have Kalingas. Ask in there and you'll get a bunch of responses!!!

Thanks. I'm still getting the lay of the land Seems like every time I post in general knife discussion I get told to post else where Lol
 
I am looking forward to any/all posts.. I think the Kalinga looks KOOL.. I do wonder what its purposes are and what is shines and doesn't shine at!! Good Luck!!

I've known people that have them and on the Buck forum there a lot of collectors, but I've never seen one in use or read about someone using it.
 
I've been under the impression that Kalingas are often admired and seldom used. I'm waiting for this thread to prove me wrong. The truth would be revealed in the Buck subforum.
