You second. I already reported it. :D (Click on the yellow warning triangle to inform the moderators.)

But all contributions are welcome!

Spam, spam, glorious spam!
Spread it on bread with a dollop of jam --
eat it, then beat it,
(I'd rather not read it) --
you'll make us all happy whenever you scram!

The stupid thing is that this guy could have invited makers to look at his website in the Maker's forum and no one would think it was spam. They'd think "oh great, another source of metal!" Some people never learn...

The really stupid thing is that this guy spammed me at my email address at home!!! I reported him as a spammer to my ISP but I want everyone to know what a creep he is.

Man, I would have loved for him to spam the Community Forum with this crap. :D

He must have a fairly elaborate setup because I got spam email directly from him right after posting in this message, too. Bastid! FWIW his site has no prices or anything else on it, so it certainly isn't worth even looking at, although judging by the picture it looks like his Ti is used by the military on Stealth Fighters or something. :D

Great. He's not ready to sell but he's got sophisticated advertising. :(

Maybe we can get him together with Dark Operations Knives !!!

Checked out his Site and really don't know what the problem is  If he could have posted in the Makers Forum...then why was it not moved

Fabian,

If your original post was not actually intended as spam then do not be discouraged from coming aboard. If you have material or a service then post in the appropriate section. If you are simply joining to spam or otherwise "market" by spam then you are probably treading on very thin ice and will not be very successful because most members here do not take kindly to that type of thing.

In any event, all the best to you and by all means join in as your most recent edit indicates.

Stuart

The whole forum thing is new to me and I really did not intend to spam anyone. Anyways Titanium is what I do and I know they use a fair bit in the knife industry and figure I could learn a thing or 2. Just want to chat and actually own a few knives. Thanks Fabian

Fabian, welcome back:)
Question for you??? I was under the impression that if you got Ti red hot it would not loose its shape...as in not warp. Is that true??? I heard recently a very poplular knife maker say it will warp like hell. I have taken Tool and Die making and am an 4 th year apprentice machinist so knowing the truth would be nice. Can you help a fellow out?? Take Care!!!

Then why am I and others getting unsolicited, bulk email for your products? We love to chat. It's dealing with spam and spammers we hate.

Looks as if Fabian is not all that interested in "chatting" as he mentioned. Perhaps this was only a vain attempt at spamming? Too bad, in that there seems to be several people interested in the subject, and with Fabian being in the business, he would most likely be close to an expert.

Regards,

Stuart

Edit for spelling

WOW...still no "chat" from this guy. Just another schpammin schmoooozer. :barf:
