I received one as a gift from my father as a Christmas gift over a year ago. I love mine. It's light enough to use as a tree trimming axe yet heavy enough to be used as a basic camp axe. Mine was the velvicut version. I soon after bought my wife a standard Hudson bay. I can tell a difference in fit and finish, but not in abilities. It's a great bargain most anywhere you purchase it.
