I for some reason have a bug in my ear screaming at me to get one of these to see what’s what. But, can’t decide between large or mini. Large looks almost to big and mini looks almost to small. No medium, so, gonna get one of these. Anyone handle either and come to any conclusions?

Would create this in the Begg dedicated forum but that is the deadest forum ever.

I have a mini that's a great knife. I don't carry it that much because the ergos just don't seem to fit. The knife seems a little small and truncated for my medium sized hands. YMMV, of course.

That doesn't mean I'd get the full sized regular if I had it to do all over. I agree, that knife just seems too big to be a EDC knife. Maybe if your hands are smaller and you add an lanyard for bit extra grip it'll work fine for you.

Otherwise, the Steelseries Begg knives are beautiful works of art. What Reate has accomplished at this price-point is amazing. I'm a little torn because I'm not sure where the Steelseries knives stand in the recent fall out between Todd and Begg Knives. If that's important to you, you might email him and see what he has to say about the Steelseries knives.

Appreciate that. I would say I have large hands, but skinny. As for the fallout between the two, that is not of much concern because I don’t intend to hangout with either. : )

I do see as these knives are bought up they are harder and harder to find. Thus why I want to try one now. May not keep it but at least want to experience one. Hinderer Half Tracks in the configuration I want are about the same boat. Waited too long and now none to find I like.

My heart wants the large but my head says the mini is all I would ever need. Know what I mean?

My SC Bodega full-size is the best knife I’ve ever touched. It’s large, its loud, and it’s 100% pure primo. A knife like that is made to be large
