any opinions on hawg knives?

i have seen a couple of production hawgs, i thought they were kinda cheap looking (ie thin liners/just not fitted well/etc) and not up to the quality of a spyderco or BM, have seen pics of the customs and they look pretty cool, of course they are around $400 also, as far as the production hawgs go, give me a BM/spyderco myself,
