I picked up a decent looking small drop point fixed blade in 440 with stag handles at what seems like a decent price. Anyone have experience or knoweledge of these?

Thanks,

Gus

i have only had experience wiht thier small peanut model with the one blade...rosewood handle scales and nickel silver bolsters on both ends.

i like this knife, the fit and finish is a little lacking......on the back there are some spaces between the layers....but this is to be expected i suppose for a lower end knife like that...my brother also has a small lockback by them...a slightly heavier knife overall...and it is a little loose when open, the blade moves a little bit front to back, but it is solid side to side.

Thanks, siguy. That matches my take on this one. Nice feeling in the hand, looks good but the fit and finish is mediocre when you look closely. Nice sheath, takes an edge well--good low price, US made utility blade. Cool logo stamp on the blade, too.
