Any opinions on the MT LUDT?

It is a very solid knife. Well worth the money put into it. The first time you open one, it kinda scares you because the blade comes out so fast. It almost knocks the knife out of your hand! After a few more tries, you start to hold onto it better. However, every once in a while I'll forget and "Thwack!" it comes open and almost comes out of my hand. :)

If you are looking for one, I have one for trade. Just click on the link in my signature line "Microtech L-UDT for trade".

Best wishes,

Dan

Great knife. It opens with real authority. Mine's stonewashed and has serrated blade. It's just about the perfect size. Wicked sharp

Planza,
I can't post, but will link to 1sks site, they have a good pic...

That's identical to mine.
If you shoot me an e-mail, I can send a pic of mine which shows the detail.

planza,
IMHO, the LUDT is a very solid piece of gear. The fit and finish is extremely good, the blade shape is very conducive to performing utilitarian tasks and MT certainly does an above average job with their heat treatment. Best of all is the very stable and secure plunge lock configuration. If the looks of this one appeal to you, I think you'll be very happy with the rest of the package.
