I ran across these looking for a quality Stag Slipjoint . Anyone here have any to comment on ?

thanks!

I've got the Fruitport pictured below. The stag is great and well fitted. The knife is well made with great action and a half stop. Fit and finish is good. The backspring is flush in the open and closed positions, not at the half stop though.

I'd put this one at about a 6 to open, it is easily pinchable. The 1095 blade came as sharp as any knife I own. The convex grind is excellent.

If it catches your eye I don't think you can go wrong.

I have the clip with smooth bone and it is my favorite slip joint. The convex grind really makes this a great using knife. Can't go wrong with one in my opinion
