... besides the Rescue Jr.? i simply LOVE the bright orange FRN handles, but i wish they could be found on something more tactical, or EDC-ish. i've looked around, but can't find any others.

wishful thinking: an orange-handled Delica.... drool...

I would like to see a small run of orange Natives or even a very dark green.
Or maybe a DESERT TAN

allyourblood,
The only other one I've seen is at hamonoichiba.com A rescue. I have a yellow one but the website shows it's available in orange.
Gotta love those colored spyders.

The current Rescue 93mm and Rescue 79mm (formerly Jr) are the only ones with orange handled variants.

very nice Gunting there! u812: yes, i would also like to see an orange-handled Native. or Endura. or Millie.

and i'd eat a bowlful of spiders (spyders?) for an orange Lum Chinese.

Nice Guntings!!! I carry an orange Rescue Jr at all times now...I just love the way the zytel contrasts with my jeans or scrubs. I also went ahead and fitted it with a black clip to make it more Halloween looking. Plus, my Merlin looks very classy with the polished clip :D

I'm sorry but I don't see why anyone would want an orange handle. Orange or red handles on a knife with a live edge are a very bad idea because these handle colors denote trainers. I'd hate someone to pick up an orange handled knife expecting a dull edge and wind up going to the emergency room for stitches or worse.

well, i'm not wanting the knife to share with others. i want the knife for myself, and i'm well aware of the blade. in addition, i have not personally seen any orange "trainers", only red. even so, i've seen many live-edge blades with red handles. there is no hard and fast rule dictating that a red or orange handled knife is a trainer, nor should there be. why should i, or anyone, not enjoy their favorite knife in ANY color, just because some people want to blindly grab one, and assume it's properties?

however, this brings up a very good point. folks, do not become so unaware, or catatonic, that you might assume a knife is a trainer, strictly based on the color of the handle. be familiar with the knife, before you make any foolish mistakes. the color should NEVER replace common sense. if you're going to open and use any knife, without being aware of it's sharpness, enjoy your stump with my compliments. :D

I would love to see orange, and maybe tan as handle choices. I have to agree with the above post. If you assume that a knife is a trainer based on handle color your pretty foolish. Like guns, it's the "I thought it was unloaded" ones that get people in trouble. Take the time to check your knife edge before using it.

Orange g-10 would be very cool :D
