well, i'm not wanting the knife to share with others. i want the knife for myself, and i'm well aware of the blade. in addition, i have not personally seen
any orange "trainers", only red. even so, i've seen many live-edge blades with red handles. there is no hard and fast rule dictating that a red or orange handled knife is a trainer,
nor should there be. why should i, or anyone, not enjoy their favorite knife in ANY color, just because some people want to blindly grab one, and assume it's properties?
however, this brings up a very good point. folks, do not become so unaware, or catatonic, that you might assume a knife is a trainer,
strictly based on the color of the handle. be familiar with the knife, before you make any foolish mistakes. the color should NEVER replace common sense. if you're going to open and use any knife, without being aware of it's sharpness, enjoy your stump with my compliments.
