Hey guys - Just wondering if any of the forum brothers are also members of the Oregon Knife Collectors Association.
Apparently there was a 2012 SFO club knife offered. The Northfield Geppetto Whittler.
I happened to get a prototype, which is serial number 0, which I'm assuming how the proto ones were serial numbered. I've no idea how many proto's GEC normally runs off.
I'm just curious if any of the club members would recall how many were run with the beaver shield on it as opposed to the normal UN-X-LD shield.
And I'm used to seeing the shield installed the other way, so it looks right with the blades on the closed knife upwards. This one seems upside down to me.
Knife is like new, but as usual, needs to be sharpened. This is the first split back spring model I've had an opportunity to look more closely at. I'm liking the ingenuity behind it but it seems to me it'd been easier just to go with three springs. Dunno.
