Man, I would love to get my hands on some of those stag slabs! Some folks should walk away pretty happy from that sale.
 
Yea I thought about heading down but know that I would spend beyond my limits.
I would love to just dig around in the cracks because you know guys like us love to "stash" things were we wont ever lose it!
 
Kinda bums me out that the son did not follow in his fathers footsteps. Sad to see this craft not be handed down as much anymore.
My father was a gunsmith and tinkered with knifes his whole life. I picked up his trade and worked as a smith for 8 years before moving to another career. I still do some work on the side as I will always be a gun guy.
Hope you all pass your trades down.
