Any other lefties carry righty?

I am left handed and when I'm cutting tomatoes or dicing something or carving something for a long time, I am using my left hand. That said, I carry on the right. It just feels more natural to carry it on the right (maybe from growing up buying all knives that had right handed pocket clip orientation because they were from big box stores), but also because if I need to quickly cut something like a box or rope while I'm working on something, odds are my left hand is already occupied holding up or holding still whatever I suddenly need to cut. When it's a long term cutting task I'll usually pull the knife from the right and just switch into the left hand.

Anyone else do this? Or maybe some right handed folks who carry on the left?

I carry on the left, but i never switch the pocket clip to the other side. im so used to it righty. i have a lefty sebenza,my only true lefty knife, i still find it weird because im so used to the lockbar set up right handed. ive adapted to right handed knives so well using them left handed, all i need is double thumb lugs,i wont buy a knife without them.

+1
I am a 'semi-lefty', I eat and write left handed and most other things I do right. I buy and carry right handed but many time will switch the knife to the left for detail work.
I have tried carrying my PM2 left...it just feels wrong.

I'm lefty but shoot righty.

So you can guess what's on each side.

Having said that I'm been carrying knives in both front pockets.

I really wish more manufacturers would make folders lefty friendly.

This is the main reason I carry Benchmades.

I switch hands depending on what size knife I'm using and what type of task. I don't know why. If I'm just doing a quick cut (say shrink wrap off a pallet) I use my left hand. Any detailed work I almost exclusively use my right hand.

I carry my folding knives on my left side, and any fixed blades on the right. If I am carrying a gun it goes right side as well. I'm left eye dominant though.

I'm right handed, but carry on my left. My right pocket carries a small pistol or revolver, so I don't carry anything else in that pocket. It becomes natural to carry the knife on the "wrong" side after you get used to it.

I'm left handed, but pretty much ambidextrous. I've found that for light precision cutting I'm more accurate with my right hand. For harder cutting tasks, I'm better with my left. I can write/eat/golf with either hand. A right handed Spyderco Military can be carried and drawn pretty quickly from the left side pocket, you just add a twirl as you draw it up to open it.

I'm a lefty. I leave my knives clipped for tip-up right handed carry, but clip them to my back left pocket.

I'm also a Lefty that carries Righty. Partly this is due to just getting used to it that way while growing up, also because I carry my handgun on my left side it just feels like I'm very heavy on my left side if I were to carry gun and knife on the left. Once the knife comes out though, it goes into my left hand. Some may say that would be too slow for self defense, I would just say that's why I carry my gun! :)

I'm a righty and I carry Lefty. I also shoot pool lefty dont know why just feels better to me
