  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Any other videos like this

This video left a bad taste in my mouth. A number of irresponsible activities are engaged in. It certainly wasn't necessary to kill the bear, and the cub they took captive, which consequently escaped (with a belt around its neck and a spruce rope attached to it) definitely didn't live to reach adulthood. Much better bushraft and or hunting videos out there. Not trying to rain on the parade, just calling it as I see it.

+1!

Quite good display of skills, P C doesn't taste like chicken , perhaps they didn't really need the food but the bear was the best exchange of effort for food value.

This whole film is staged. They present ideas, but this is FAR from reality. NONE of that acually happened the way they portray it. From the magical "no char, burst into flame" fireplow to one person keeping everyone fed, sheltered and still being able to make a canoe (decorated and all). I can only scratch the surface of FAKE in this film. It is about as educational as watching old Tarzan re-runs.

I am not opposed to killing animals. I hunt, responsibly. That certainly wasn't the case in this "documentary". It was obviously staged as noted by Rick and done so in a way as to even SMELL SCRIPTED. I think the most appeal it had was the time period. To watch a vintage film about survival I think would be neat, as long as it were not contrived.

It's so staged... you notice when they leave with their camera man that somehow magicly the camera follows them while they leave in the canoe.

It's good for entertainment, I'm not bothered by the dead bear or the cub.

I'll guarantee the cub got it off of its neck, bears are smart, especially the black bears.

This discussion makes me hungry for some bear ribs.

Like I said, it was good for entertainment.
