Decent enough for mundane daily tasks? How has the sheath retention held up over time?

Most importantly, is it good enough that if you lost one would you buy another?

I had one and sold it. Chisel grind was annoying for normal cutting tasks. The knife point was very sharp, but I was concerned about its fragility. Sheathe retention was good -- to the extent that it caused some wear on the coating.

I wouldn't buy again, though some folks love it for its perceived self-defense abilities. But if I'm threatened and can deploy a knife to defend myself, I'd prefer a large and very visible blade to deter and hopefully chase off -- rather than attack -- a threat.

Thanks. I should add self defense use is very low on my list of uses. Just find the size and design appealing.

Me too -- exactly why I bought it. And it's small and light and disappears in your pocket, which made it very appealing. But I just didn't find it a useful design for everyday knife tasks -- of which (truth be told) I have very few.

I like it but while it's a good size for EDC the blade design is really not well suited for everyday tasks. Sheath retention on mine is excellent, it's not falling out and no rattle.

I agree that if I were choosing a knife to use for SD something larger would be on the list, but the idea is the best knife for SD is the one you have on you and I can't carry a machete or Bowie everywhere.

Maybe try the Izula, just a little bigger but many EDC it, great knife.
