can any one post some pics of a busse knife with a desert tan blade and black handles. I am going to buy my first busse (tank buster looks good). Have seen plenty of black blades with tan handles but not viseversa. Would love satin blade but i am australian and the aus dollar can make buying american expensive. So standard colors look good to me. I've noticed when i show people my knives, if they are coated, they will notice coating first before they will coment on the knife. So i would like a color combo that lets people see the knife first. Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm an Aussie too, can't help you with the photo in the colours you want.

I've not decided whether I'll get a 'Buster or not.
If I do I'll be going satin, even though I can't (shouldn't) really afford a 'Buster at the moment.
The factors I'm considering are:
1) that this is a knife that will last your life and proably your kids and grandkids if you have them. There fore the extra cost over time is not huge (though I understand if you simply don't have the money to spend now you just don't have it).
2) I intend to use my 'Buster if I get one, and it is much easier to clean up (remove scratches) from satin/DC than it is to clean up coated finishes. WIth a scratched up coated finish, you pretty much have to leave it daggy and scratched up once it is used or strip it. And I think if you are gonna go down the "strip it" path the factory will do a nicer job than me.

Either way I don't think you will be disappointed with your 'Buster and welcome to the Hog trough.

Here is black canvas and sage in the front.
The canvas micarta darkens up with use, or a little mineral oil.

Here it is again wet:thumbup:
The bottom is muddy with tan canvas micarta.

The black paper is darker black than the canvas micarta, looks like G10.

Hey, to the fellow Aussies and cheers to every one for the picss.
I figured with the coating i wont be shy to use her, and i've always liked scars. Chics love em and blokes want to know the story. So scratches dont bother me.
But on that note, can anyone tell me what the pros and cons are between satin and DC are?

Sage and tan looks NICE!!!

I'm having trouble myself deciding between sage, tanker gray, muddy or bama clay with tan handles....
