any pics of flat ground AR?

As soon as it arrives I'll be glad to post some pics. Right now I only have the ones in my dreams and that damn USB cable won't plug into my ear :D

Here's a few of mine.

Nice pics! I was never a big fan of folders, but the more I see the pictures of the AR and GB the more I know it is just a matter of time...

:)

In the pics of the flat/hollow AR's, I noticed that the lock-up on the hollow looks much better than on the AR. I wonder if this can be adjusted?
Also, looks like there is an O-ring in the thumbstud of the hollow. I might have to try that.

harrydog,

don't worry about lockup. My flat ground GB locks up the same as the flat ground AR in the pics. Everything is solid, and may break in over time.

As for the o-ring. I read your post, then checked out the pics. How ingenius, I thought. So I went to the hardware store and found one that did the trick. I believe it was 1/16"(cross-section size) x 3/32"(circle diameter). It was quite a stretch, and therefore won't be coming off in the pocket, in drawing, or in use. It does the trick too. No more ouchy thumb! The little bastard did set be back $.42 though....

These strider folders are definitely the sh!t. Cause sometimes you need more than just something to cut with, these folders offer that piece of mind.

Oh, and no reprocussions as of yet, from removing the two-sided washer goo (I think you replied to my post on that). That's been with several openings/closings, twistings and flickings. She is definitely smooth for any knife, which is even more amazing when considering the colossal size of these things!!

Thanks for the comparison pix Joe. Wasn't sure if my AR was hollow or flat ground. Now I know. Flat.

Hey, thanks for trying the O-ring so quickly. I'm heading for the hardware store tomorrow.
My AR did seem colossal at first, but after handling it for a couple of weeks, it now seems merely big rather than colossal - a very usable size.
But now my Sebenza seems downright tiny!
