For some reason I've been thinking about small fixed blades that could be pocket carried. I know nothing about fixed blades, this is the first time I've even seriously thought about them really. Just wondering if anyone has some pics of knives like this to share. Thanks,
DM

There are several out there from sweet customs to cheap mass produced blades.

Also depends on your pockets, hip, back, cargo or on some newer pants and shorts the cell phone pockets. Oh, and the watch pockets, those are hit and miss these days.

ETA: Are you looking for a traditional fixed blade for pocket carry?

Cant afford to buy anything right now. I'd just like to see some pics...you know...to torture myself lol

You'll get a broader response to your question here in the "General Knife Discussion Forum"...(link maintained in "Traditional")

Here are some of mine.

I'm a big fan of small pocketable fixed blades. Here's a few to view.

the third one with the stag handle is really nice, if you could make that without a finger guard, I would be the first to get it, very nice

So you would like the handle to go more straight across the bottom, I can do that or just about anything else you may want. You can click on my avatar and email me and we can discuss it, please be sure to include your email address as you do have it enabled under your avatar.
Thanks

Here is my Gossman PSK, Jr. I edc'd this all summer in a pocket sheath. It fits perfectly in my tool pocket of a pair of Carhart's.

Seems like most of the knives being shown are pocket sheath knives that would be halfway sticking out. No? Any of these so far fit completely and comfortably into a pants pocket?

Pretty sure you can afford one of these from AG Russell, and it drops completely into a front pants pocket. It's called the Hunters Scalpel. This one is the old style, which you can find sometimes on eBay, but the new style is very pocket-able as well.

AG also has a back pocket sheath knife, the Woodswalker, for the same price ($20).

The Tom Krein designed, Boker made, Pocket Bowie is a very nice reasonably priced small fixed blade that I just picked up.--KV

Using this sheath (which has since been modified by shortening the clip with a dremel cut-off wheel) the pictured knife or my JK hikers back up (with a shorter handle) rides comfortably in my front pocket with only a small portion of the handle exposed and I can resheath without removing the sheath from my pocket. I quit carrying my Izula buried in my pocket because of the resheathing procedure.
With the hikers back-up it is no more exposed than most pocket clip folders.

Guyon, Which knife is all the way to the right?
I believe that is a Fiddleback Karda.

Here are a few returning faces, as well as a new one:

Left to right is the Fiddleback Karda, RAT/ESEE Izlua, Bark River Pro-Scalpel II and KaBar/Becker BK-11.
All of the above fit comfortably and completely concealed in every pair of pants I own, as well as doubling as neck knives when the mood strikes me.
