I'm curious to see what "grey" is..is it like Ti, or blackish, the pics I find make it really hard to tell just what color it is..--Joe

This one might help, as it shows a few different color Spydercos. The grey on the Calypso Jr. is quite dark, especially when compared to the grey "Q" and almost as dark as the matte finish black micarta on the Persian. Its almost like a black that has been faded by the sun. I like it, and think Sal's decision to use the bead blasted clip with the black bug on these was great, as it really goes well with the knife.

Deacon,
Nice pic. How's that little PE ladybug treating ya? How does it compare to a Jester in size. I want to get 3 of these ladybug/light combos. 2 for friends, and while I'm at it, one for myself;)

Here's a shot that shows the slightly darker grey FRN. Quite classy looking IMHO. Really holds and takes a good edge too.

manowar, my advice is get 3 Jester/Photon combos. IMHO, the ladybug is a decent little key ring knife with a Spyderco quality blade in it, while the Jester is a fantastic little Spyderco that just happens to fit nicely on your key ring. When you use the 'bug, you KNOW you're using a tiny knife. When you use the Jester, you very quickly forget how small it is, the forward finger ramp and the grooves in both that and the thumb ramp make it a delight to cut with. I got the Ladybug in that picture mostly because I wanted one in PE for my collection. My own key ring sports a burgundy micarta Jester. Size is nearly identical, the Ladybug handle is perhaps 1/16" longer, but the Jester blade is about 1/32" longer, so open they're pretty darn close.
