This is some old stuff !!!

The computer I used for all my old stuff crashed. Before it did we put all the pics on disk. That disk is in storage in MO, however I found a few on an old web page. Give me some time and I will get these transfered over....

From left to right... !.
1. How I got started when I was a kid... knife made from handsaw blade material
2. next stock removal from large saw blade
3. first "forged blade", the black had a crack in it so I beat it out on a railroad iron laying on my shop floor...
4. little better forged blade.. I built ALOT of these "three finger" knives for ebay
5. After reading Wayne Goddards Fifty Dollar Knife Shop, I built this large skinner

Here is a picture of the first full time maker that I ever became aquainted with, Robert Edge. He isn't on the net, so you will have to drive down main street in Galenna, KS to locate his store. I took my first lessons from him.

They all looked great even back then !!!

I like the handle on the first forged blade, if the blade was a drop point it would look great !

The large skinner is sweet, reminds me of a Roach Belly !!!
