I have the combo edge myself and think its an excellent value for such a low price, anyone have the plain edge? Mine is combo edge and the plain ones seem to be very uncommon. I'd love to snag one but no luck anywhere. The knife with it's scimitar-like trailing point blade kind of makes me think of a poor man's Benchmade Bedlam.

Are these still being made? Everyone seems to say "out of stock, no back order" which isn't encouraging.

Discontinued awhile ago. I got one when they first came out, loved it but even so, gave it to my brother in law. I moaned about how I regretted that, and made a joke to Tim here on the forums about spelling his name right and asking if I could get a free knife as a result. He sent me not one but two free ones, one being a Tremor plain edge. They must've had some leftovers or some kind soul at the company gave me one from their personal collection. Really glad to have it back.

The combo-edge is in less demand so you can still find it, as you've noticed. Plain edge not so much.

This was on my To Buy list but when i went to purchase it i couldn't find it anywhere. I'm not a big fan of combo edges so.... no Tremor for me. =[

I'm not either but I almost feel like grabbing a couple anyway just to back up my plain edge... and I usually don't do that with combo edges.

Personally, I think it would be awesome to see Kershaw come out with a similar blade shape, maybe a little less handle length an a higher end steel like 14C28N or even S30V. I would be over that.

It's a great shape and length, difficult to find great lengths of blade at that price point.

I have a plain edge tremor I tried to EDC it for awhile but found it too heavy and bulky for normal day to day carry it started to compete with other stuff in my front pocket so it got replaced. Feels like I have count dooku's lightsaber every time I do use it which is very rare.

I grabbed one before they discontinued it and I'm really glad that I did. My only personal gripe is that it's not deep-pocket carry - so I have been trying to find a clip replacement so that I can start carrying it again. Awesome knife!

I have a plain edge, it's another great budget knife from Kershaw, a good choice for those on a budget who want something a little bigger than the norm.

Poke around ebay and the like every once in a while, and one will eventually turn up. I kind of wanted to add a larger assisted opener to my collection, and eventually found a used tremor there after checking listings occasionally for month or so. Not entirely sure why the vast majority of tremors were apparently serrated. Like most Chinese Kershaws, it's much nicer than the price point would suggest.

Too big for my tastes, though; the Blur is the largest knife that ever seemed a comfortable fit for my pocket.

Part of me wonders if there was a large order for a major retailer like Walmart or Academy Sports that was cancelled and Kershaw had already produced them. It seems that a lot of the combo edge Tremors floating around are in those blister packs, which points to my theory. Mine is from BladeHQ and came in the cardboard box, Kershaws in blister packs seem to have many more QC problems (stripping screws, Loctite black being used etc.).

The knockout deep carry clip fits you just don't use the center hole.

I had one but gave it to a friend who said it's the best goat skinning knife he has ever used.
