Are there any plans for an upcoming larger Hawkbill?
Recently got a Tasman Salt H1 Serrated and have been very surprised just how useful this knife is for general purpose tasks. Particularly as a companion blade to a plain edge larger folder, i.e. the Military.
On that note... could the Military work with a Hawkbill blade design? The Military is amazingly engineered, VERY comfortable in the hand, has a rugged beauty to it, etc. Don't see why this proven platform couldn't accommodate a Hawkbill SE blade. Just a thought...
There's also the more minor aesthetics angle which would make something ala the Military be a great fit... I have no problem clipping the Military to my pocket, even with the high carry clip. It's beautiful in an industrial, utilitarian way, so it goes fine with a nice pair of jeans for example, really in any setting. The Tasman is a different thing altogether, and I would not clip it to my pocket (which was my problem with it at first, but that's solved) - I find it's great free floating in the pocket. In fact, the FRN material is perfect for pocket free floating.
Thanks!
