any plans for a separate bk9 kydex sheath?

Tooj told me back in January that "there are, at present, no plans to hard sheath the BK-7s or BK-9s. The cross talk about hard sheaths is just wishful thinkers and not enough to pursue….yet. If there is a real large outcry we may change our minds. We are making new hard sheaths for the BK-2 and 3."

I wish to God they would make one for both the 7 and 9.

i wish they'd make them as a separate item for purchase. no need to change the whole production line sheath, just make a dozen or so for the bk9. i'm already willing to spend another $60 or so and i'd rather it go to ka-bar. with the release of the junglas hopefully they will change their minds!

huh??? What changes in the BK-2 sheath have you heard of? Do share.

I am on the other side of the aisle. I like the Cordura sheaths. I ended up putting my BK-2 into a BK-7 sheath.

sorry, i have no details. ethan posted about a new design down the line about a month ago here. i'm guessing something to push your thumb against for easier one-handed un-sheathing.
