Any plans on another micarta handled folder?

Like a folder with bolsters & micarta handles like the Persian & the Kris?
I love these style knives.They feel very solid & have a good heft to them.
So,any plans on making another,or two?

I just got a Viele 2 today... maybe you should keep your eye out for one? If you don't already have one, that is. Wonderful knife.
 
I love these models too. Sprint run large Persian with wood or bone handles would be great.:D

Hopefully, Spyderco and Ed have plans for more.:thumbup:
 
I'd be happy to see both the Kiwi and Kopa offered in the mocha canvas micarta Spyderco is using on the Temperance II. Both of them have enough contour to their handles to show off the grain of the micarta. If they use micarta on any others, I do hope they contour it. Flat slabs of micarta have no beauty. Much as I love my Persians, the scales could just as well be FRN. Even though the knife itself is of poor quality, with terrible fit and finish, the scales on the Byrd Harrier look ten times more attractive to me than the Persian's.

Thanks,I didn't know about the Viele 2.It's pretty nice.I don't know if it's worth that price tag though.

What kind of prices are you seeing? I just bought one off of the exchange forum for $75, in probably 95%+ condition, which I would consider a good deal.

I didn't search around a lot.I seen $135-$145.00,just seemed a little much.

$75 is a good deal,even $95 would be acceptable for me.

Yeah, I am absolutely pleased with mine for $75! Love it. As you said, $95 would not at all be a bad deal, but still, hold out for $75, IMO. I think you can get one for around there.
