Hey...if you have any pics, stats or info on the Rat Cutlery "Laser Strike" I sure would be interested and appreciative of seeing and learning more about this knife...I may try and hunt one down...were they a small run model?

thanks in advance!

I've been looking for one for quite awhile.

Very hard to find. I think most of them, and it was a small run, ended up getting used pretty hard as I've seen almost no clean examples.

If you find two in your travels, let me know.

Someday soon we will have Rowen producing these!

Very good to know Jeff! When you posted the 'Future of RAT Cutlery' thread I was afraid the machetes and the folder would be the end of the new models. I've been looking forward to the new Laser Strike. I think a spearpoint RAT would be a great addition to the line.

Thats what I thought too. I'm real happy to hear about these!

The first person to email Mrs. Shotty 1000 times asking when they will be shipping get a free one! :D

The laser strike is one that always gets my attention

never seen one for sale :(, love the to looks of it (except the bow drill divot but no body's perfect :D)

We do plan on re-producing this knife. When we announced the future of RAT it didn't mean we were quitting the biz altogether, but we're not going to be coming out with a half-dozen new models every year since we have pretty much have everything covered. With that said, if soemthing strikes our fancy and seems useful then we will make it.

It was a fixed blade.

That's a sweet knife.

What was the price for this knife? I'm glade it doesn't have a choil. I prefer no choil because it dosen't cut and I don't like to put my finger too close to the edge.

Sweet. Thanks Jeff

Day-um!
I'm in lust.
I likes me them spear points.
looks like a 4" blade - that might beat out my Puukko for fine work!

Wow...I am lovin that! Does anyone know the specs, blade length, thickness...I assume 1095? Other then style, what special merit does this knife have over say an RC4? Rat seems to make knives that are functional without a bunch of overlap, I wonder what this beast was ideally designed for? Thanks

I have been thinking. If there is someone out there that will email 1000 times to get a non existant knife then maybe I could offer a Laser Strike to anyone who could get me a date (all night) with Catherine Zeta Jones? She would have to come here to Blaine of course and leave Michael at home but we could drive to Gatlinburg or something and catch a show a Dollywood and get a burger at the Jiffy Freeze.:) I am joking.
