Hello. Anybody handle one of these Devil's Brigade V-42 Repro daggers yet? What's the bladesteel? Is is made in China? What's the lowdown? The press release is gimpy as heck. WHo wrote that thing anyway? Sheesh. Who's handled one of these? Thnaks.

Colt has a chinese made V-42. 440 stainless steel blade, sharp as the devil, a very nice piece overall with winter sheat. Better than my pride:an F/S 2. pattern for look and cut. BUT: Böker has just made its own V-42, in China, even more autentic to the original million dollar Case V-42, and with the original high-carbon blade-steel. They say. But I have problem to get this promising piece up here to Norway where I live. Where in Germany are they selling this promising awesome honey? I just find a few advertiseing, but no WHERE or WHO.

OK. I reply to myself a bit. (About the REAL matter and so on). The chinese Colt V-42 reminds me of Ken Folletts "Die Nadel". Almost invisible thin, but cut in flesh and bone as laser (dead part of a pig, of course folk! Jesus.) As a modest knife-collector, I would like to
compare the german chinese connection with the german one. (Why could'nt they made it in Solingen?)The
Ok. The price. Now we all can
by the same thing as the rich people, but almost free - from China. The americans do it too, but will not admit.
