Any reason to not bed the scales on my fixed blades?

I work on boats and I'm obsessed with bedding everything.
Encapsulation is a good thing in my world.
Any reason not to bed micarta handles onto a D2 blade and then plug the screw head holes?
I know it's a pain to disassemble but I shouldn't have to ever take it apart.
