Any recent CQC 8s out there

Has anyone received a new CQC 8 recently?

I ordered one three years ago and well, you guessed it, still waiting. I called the Emerson shop a short time back and found a run of 8s had been done! But, alas, a did not make the cut. I am moving up the list...I hope! Anyway, did anyone get lucky?
Just woundering.

That is good to hear! I am happy for Dirk! I would like to buy a production blade from Emerson but I will hold out till the 8 makes its' appearence.

You might be holding out for awhile. I have had two CQC8s on order coming real close to the 5 year estimated date and I didn't recieve any of the new batch. Not complaining because I was told that it would be at least a 5 year wait. I wouldn't mind a pleasant surprise but they are worth the wait.

If I were you I would go ahead and get a production model now.... HECK get a couple. They will help the waiting period

OK, I give up. Here's a mint undated flat handle CQC8 with satin blade for you. Priced to SOLD! And you don't have to become a trans-sexual.

It is good to see 8s out there. Any of them in use or are they boxed away? I ordered mine to carry but now it seems hard to ignor the collector value. I really like to use all of my knives. I wish my Levis had twenty pockets!

I have had an 8 & 9 on order since Dec '96, I
e-mailed last week but have gotten no response. Oh well, just another example of great customer service.
