Im looking for a new set of kitchen knives. I came across North Arms Knives. northarmsknives.com They have a santoku a chef and paring knife. They use cpm-s35vn hardened 59-61. They are priced really well $120ish on the larger $42 on the paring. G-10 scales or you can upgrade to wood. I searched and havent seen any reviews except a hunting knife which got good reviws. Does anyone have any of these knives, used them or have any experience with the company? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated

I am also interested in this. Great value for an S35VN knife. More interested in their old santoku/French chef hybrid, the Salal.

CNC made. Not sure how they sell them and make money at those prices using CPM steel, but more power to 'em.

I use them. I've got a salal and trillium "chef knife and a paring"

I love them. John does some great work, you get an amazing steel with a razor sharp edge at a great price. I would say go for the CNC finish. Its very attractive. They were my sort of introduction to custom kitchen knives 'that I didnt make" and even though I now have a wide assortment of other knives I still use them quite often. The paring knife in particular handles incredibly well.

He's North Arm Knives on here, very nice dude and gets some great photos of him using his gear in the hunting/fishing threads. I haven't gotten to try one, but was eyeing his fillet knives in s35vn for a bit.
