any roughnecks around here? and if you are what knife do you use?

Like the title says I have been doing this since I was 16 and have been using a kershaw scamp for awhile now my dad is a driller and he has been using a kershaw skyline for even longer! So if any of yall are roughnecks what do you use to cut rope or bags or whatever

Not a roughneck, but I spend a few years mudlogging on a rig. The knife in my pocket the entire time was an AG Russell Hunters Scalpel, and in my bag for spare was a midsize Opinel.

The Hunters Scalpel was wonderful. The fixed blade design made it safe, even with winter gloves. The locking sheath and lanyard meant never buying a replacement. And the size made it disappear in my pocket unless needed.

Opening coffee packets, some fast wire stripping, cutting tape, and opening boxes... Couldn't have asked for a better tool for the job.
