hi guys. i bought wileyx and they deceived me. they don't say anywhere it causes severe allergy beside of piece of paper that goes along with eyeshield. so i had to throw my money and month of waiting in a trash before i had a chance to know such fact about that disgusting garbage. any materials that don't cause allergy there, used in eyeshields? i have simple old glasses and they cope good with that, but are too bad at everything else.

Most of the safety glasses are made of polymers. That means a specific polymer + additives ,any of which can cause a problem . You might test a bunch but thats $$ and time consuming. I thought of titanium frames but even then the nose pads are polymer !
I suggest you contact a seller of titanium frames [ such as zennioptical ] and ask if it's possible to change the nose piece .Ask then if you could have samples of material to test. Safety glasses have specs that need to be followed . I would.t doubt that most nose pieces are made of silicone rubber which , like titanium are friendly to the human body !!
I don't have contact allergies but I have UVEX safety glasses . That model has the lenses , nose pieces molded as one piece .UVEX makes many models . Ast the experts.
