Any Salt Series fakes ever pop up?

Maybe it's just the fact that it's 1:30 in the morning and I have been reading about Spyderco fakes for the last hour, but have any Salts ever been faked? I feel like I got all of mine from Reputable places (Amazon, because I have Prime and it rules). But is there a way to tell? Other than rust maybe haha. Much appreciated.

I personally have not seen any. Maybe the fact that they will never rust makes the people faking them shy away from the H-1 as they will probably be outed rather quickly.

i've seen a dragonfly H1 (fake), right now i cannot find the pic from the seller (in my local blade discussion forums). it has the H1 laser etch, but the handle are black and well, volcano pattern FRN (not bi-directional pattern), the wire clip looks so wrong, and so on with the details.

You have to be aware also, that there is an incidence of people claiming a knife is fake when it isn't.

Not saying there aren't fake Dragonfly Salts out there, but the only fake H-1 Spydercos I can recall seeing are fakes of the Warrior.

I used to have a second-generation Endura with ATS-55 steel. When I lived in south Florida, I'd take it to the beach, use it to cut up pineapples, oranges, etc., and even keep it clipped to my shorts when I was chest-deep in water, casting for bass. I never ever had any rust. So I guess you could say that one was a "fake" Salt. ;-)

There was a fairly recent post on the Spyderco forum of a faked Rock Salt in "CPM H1." It was obviously fake though, and I haven't heard of any fake Salts that weren't fixed blade. The FRN mold required to fake the folders is probably a deterrent.
