The title pretty much sums it up. I want a folder, that has a steel like 12c27, is scandi ground, and is less than 40 bucks. I've just had great experiences with 12c27 mora's that are scandi. I actually put a microbevel on it, but i use the scandi bevels as a guide. Anyone who suggests something would be greatly appreciated!:)

Watching this one to see the response. I am interested in the same.

I know it's not helpful, but I think the Enzo birk 75 and those woods knife folders are about it in Scandi. They both run about $100. You could maybe pick a Eka swede 8 or something similar and have one of the fine blademakers here do a regrind. Hope this helps. I like you wish a production knife company made an inexpensive Scandi ground blade in 12c27. Good luck.

Try Epstein Hardware; they have an Estwing folder for $18 that is really an EKA folder with Swedish steel. The grind is "almost scandi" and I'm sure you could make it so.

I examined the one I have tonight; it is a thin blade with a scandi grind (not hollow ground) but with a bevel instead of a zero grind. I believe it is the Sandvik stainless.

Can only get ya close with Buck Vantage Avid. 13C26 Sandvik, but it's long deep hollow grind.

seems eka made a couple at least at one time. not sure anymore which fall into the hollow ground v.s. the scandi ground anymore. cause i don't keep up with them and there is lots of old stock pictures out there, so without seeing one in the metal i wouldn't know for sure . that said.... seems the eka 92 or 88 might still be? i could be wrong though?
