On a day as hot as this a lake makes the most sense....so why did I decide to do a steep climb !!!!

At least with the weather being this good I had some great views at the top~

This was my sharp today. When we have these posts about which knife would ya keep if you can only have one...well if the 'one' had to be carried in both urban and wilderness then this would definitely be mine. Small enough to drop in a pocket but big enough for for all most any task. Felt sick to the teeth when I managed to drop it on the drive when I got back home today...scuffed the micarta on the end, could have been worse I guess !:(

Looks like a nice place to cool off from these hot days. Thanks for the pics Pit.

Wet dogs are happy dogs, on hot days. My dog and I are jealous. My life and time is occupied so much right now, I can't even plan a trip to the outdoors.
Glad to see someone can get out and have some fun.

Do you ever have to give Maisy a drink from your water supply? When my last dog got old , I use to pour water from a canteen for her to get a drink. Sometimes into the palm of my hand.

Some great scenery up there. I'll bet Maisy was relieved when she got in that water, huh?

Thanks for the pics
