I use paracord to tie lanyards on my knives. I would like something different besides black or od green. Does anyone know of any sources for paracord of different colors?

Dennis,
The local surplus store has some colors. If you want I will see what they got and let you know. You may be better off checking someplace like http://www.rei.com

Most climbing shops will have accesory cord. It is usually just braided nylon with no inner strings like paracord. It is not 550# strength, but might be up to around 300# depending on diameter.

Thanks Brian, that would be great. I'll check with REI also. My local store only has black and green.

There is paracord out there besides black and drab olive. At an outdoor store in my city, they have cool two tone colors ranging from the loud (black/neon green), to a nice beige/brown check patterned one.

I had about 6 to 7 feet of the brown/beige that I bought to wrap a CS Bushman -- but it was not enough.

I'd give it to you for nothing (you pay the shipping), but I've misplaced it.

In "Paracord", Black and OD are the most common. I have also seen White and Tan. On one occasion I saw (and picked up a small amount) Red Paracord.

I pick up different colored accessory cord when ever I run accross any. Being from the flat State of Florida, we don't have climbing equipment just everywhere.

Anyone who is interetsed. The local store has colors by the foot. About $.08. They have yellow, blue, red, purple, lime green, and maybe more. If anyone is interested email me.

Hey, Dragon1, maybe you can help. Is there a 1-800 number on the label of that package, or at least a return address?--OKG
