I have some vintage McIntosh (both tube and SS) and a Dual turntable - driving some older Polk sub sats, as well as my own design and build of back loaded horns.
I do a lot of headphone audio though - with hand built tube amps and a large collection of high end headphones.
I used to. "back in the day" (now I feel old) when I was doing studio engineering and recording stuff on 2" 24 track reel to reel, I had a really nice setup with McIntosh power and JBL Studio Monitors. Nowadays, partially due to blowing out my ears with said setup, most of my listening is relegated to some Sennheiser cans.
McIntosh tube preamp and SS amp.
Dali Euphonia MS5 speakers. SVS subwoofer.
Bryston BCD player.
Wyred 4 Sound DAC.
Nordost interconnects, cables.
And a separate Headphone and amp setup for "quiet" listening.
Conrad Johnson driving Martin Logans, sometimes use a pair of hot rodded Adcom GFA-555's pushing vintage Dalhquist DQ10's or Magnepans. I wish I had more time to sit and listen!
