There must be a couple of Rolling Stones fans here, right?
I'm not a fanatic, but I went to the Stones concert at the Rogers Centre (formerly the Skydome) here in Toronto last night. No matter whether you like them or not, there's no argument that Mick Jagger works his A$$ off on stage, non-stop from beginning to end. Not bad for a grandfather! I'm not sure, but I think I even noticed Keith Richards moving once or twice.
Seriously, he was also up there rockin' and rollin' up a storm. Of course, if you buried him today and dug him up 8 months later, he'd still LOOK the same.
The staging was unbelievable - the size of an apartment building. The sound was a bit muddy (but not bad, considering the venue) and the lighting sequences to highlight the songs were probably the best I've ever seen.
I know that ticket prices for this tour are insane, but if you have a chance to get them, do it.
Has anyone else seen this show yet?
