I wanted to take my knife apart and heard some stories that you have to brake loose the loctite first .

Use the spanner. Loctite isn't designed to stop you from unscrewing it, just from it unscrewing on it's own during use.

Depends upon what type of Loctite is used. Heat it a little and that will take care of it.
A sodering iron for the red stuff, a hairdryer for the blue stuff will do the trick.

Soldering iron for sure.
Some retard monkey must have been working at the Strider factory the day they made one of my SmF's. The spanner did nothing. The damn thing was slathered with loctite all up and down the inside of the pivot.
I hate Loctite.

A 25W-30W soldering pencil is all that is needed for Blue Loctite (Red is mor tenacious.). Wipe the hot tip on a damp sponge or rag to get excess solder off, then touch it carefully to the screw head - count to five for a small screw (clip) or ten for a pivot. It should be much easier. I do this on all of my B-M's to remove the clip screws, etc.

Stainz

What Bastid said. +1 Also stabman, loctite is good stuff as long as the right formula and in the right amount is used. But I agree if someone put gobs of high strength red loctite (266) on a fastener, it sucks getting it out. The 242 blue does a great job.
