Any suggestions in place of Benchmade mini-Grip?

Hello!

I'm EDCing plain mini-Grip right now. Really sharp and well made knife. And also, nice size to carry.

But from comparing to Spyderco Military or Emerson Commander, mini-Grip's handle feels kinda too smooth, plasticy.

Anything you could suggest instead--with G10 handles, similar size--for switching mini-Grip?

Thanks a lot!

Benchmade 707 Sequel. Very similar knife with aluminum handles with G10 inserts, almost an exact copy of the mini-grip with better scales.

My thoughts as well, if you can find a 705 that would be good too, its basically a smaller version of the 710 and what inspired the 707 sequel.

+2 Having custom scales made for it will be around the same price as buying a new knife like the 707. I would go that route since you already know you like the blade shape and the action of the mini-grip. I love the 707 as well so either way you can't go wrong. Look at Cuscadi and Wilkins for the Mini-Grip scales.

Another vote for custom scales for your mini grip. Much improved feel in the hand while of course maintaining the great size and action of the knife.

Replace the Mini-Grip's grips?? haha their are some guys selling different scales for the mini grip that are less plasticy looking and feeling, if you dint want to buy another knife
